Job Description:

Knowledge of system development lifecycles – requirements, design, testing, training and implementation

ColdFusion/FuseBox [Web programming, support]

Client side technologies such as XML, AJAX, JavaScript and CSS [Web programming, support]

User inter face design; usability best practices and knowledge of information architecture

Knowledge of web casting, including distributed servers and network implications [Support for video webcast system used by senior and executive mgmt.]

Knowledge of video production, including video camera hardware and general live event moderation

Executive communication skills – verbal, written and personal presentation [Support for video webcast system used by senior and executive mgmt.]

Superb time management skills with an ability to switch between abstract and analytical problem solving on the fly

Implement Java and ASP.net solutions, including design, coding and testing deliverables [Intranet application programmer]

Contribute to our department’s adoption of design and coding best practices – e.g. CMMI, code management, etc.

Oracle/BEA Portal with Aqua Logic experience is a plus [Intranet application programmer]

Knowledge of corporate finance and budgeting is a plus – e.g. outside plant engineering projects, including bidding, bid awards, project management, project closure, vendor management and annual budget cycles.
