AIX / SUN Systems and Storage Administration opening

JOB REQ DESCRIPTION -

Looking for a Storage Administrator with 3+ yrs experience that is recent with NetBackup 6.0; 3+ yrs recent experience with Brocade, HDS USP, NetApp systems.
Experience working with Brocade SAN Director/Switches; intermediate-Expert, 3+ yrs exp is a plus.

This job requires ability to support storage and backup environments for Open Systems supporting approximately 1,000 servers in centralized environment as a mix of AIX, Solaris, Linux and Win2k / 3k. May require after hours work and some weekends as a rotation.

Job Description: Is responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the systems environment. Monitors systems, responds to problems and plans for growth. Provides ongoing systems analysis. Performs additional job duties as required. Has basic troubleshooting skills, and must understand local/wide area networking and PC hardware/software. Works across all functional areas of the enterprise, and uses a strong customer services orientation to ensure that all requests and problems are resolved. Works on small and large projects that have system-wide impact and integrate across the organization.
