PMO Project Manager / Sox Compliance Opening in Austin, Texas

Job Requirement:

-Oversee and direct contract compliance activities including time-sensitive deliverables and reports,

-Coordinate activities and guide compliance resources in completion of technology and process audits such as ISO 27002, Sarbanes-Oxley and Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS),

-Supervise and oversee contractually required reporting, including weekly, monthly and quarterly reports,

-Support PMO business and financial planning activities and estimates,

-Function in the role of Quality Manager for the portal, including auditing of project deliverables, processes and work products,

-Draft and refine board presentations and related reports for contracted board meetings,

-Provide guidance and oversight to 3 compliance and reporting analysts,

-Support PMO Director and project managers in executing project activities, including project planning and reporting,

-Follow documented processes and procedures, and

-Participate in continuous process improvements that will result in greater efficiencies, improved customer service, increased revenue, and overall improved program performance.

Position-specific Required Skills:

-Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business or Computer Science;

-Excellent written and oral communication skills;

-Proven experience in managing contract compliance and audit requirements;

-Experience managing day-to-day relationships with clients;

-Proven ability to work independently;

-Experience in a CMM or CMMI ML3 organization is highly desired;

-At least five years experience in a team lead or management role; and

-Experience working with government entities, especially state and local governments is desired.

Position-specific Desired Skills:

-Experience with Microsoft Office Project and Daptiv Project Management tools is desired,

- Experience working with Microsoft Office SharePoint is desired,

-Experience with ISO standards as pertaining to organizations (business and management) and associated audit activities is desired.
