Senior Web Usability Engineer

Job Description

-3+ years experience in launching successful interactive web applications as a key member of a web development, application development, or user experience team.
-4+ years of experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML.
-3+ years of experience with JavaScript (DOM Scripting, AJAX), Action Script(Flash).
-Extremely comfortable with JavaScript libraries like Prototype, JQuery, MochiKit.
-Knowledge of web browser compatibility issues and workarounds (Mac and PC).
-Strong understanding of web standards, object-oriented design and software development principles.
-Strong knowledge of accessibility laws and accessible development techniques.
-Bachelors in Arts or Sciences or equivalent experience.
-Ability to drive multiple projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements:

-The candidate must have strong experience in Web Design with the following; XHTML, JavaScript and Flash.

Specific Soft Skills Needed:

·1) Education in design or Industrial design or Fine arts;

·2) Well trained in best design practices and have used wire-frames,

·3) Universal design or any other design approaches in his previous or existing projects;

·4) Worked with or guided a team of developers and designers in designing and developing a sizable web project.
