Senior Linux Administrator

Job Overview:

-They must have 3-4 years experience with the following Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux v.4 spans IBM eServer platforms. With a common code base (built on the Linux 2.6 kernel).
-Must have excellent communication skills
-Qualifications (degree, travel, etc): no travel, RED HAT certified would be nice, RHCE
-Candidate would be responsible for Maintenance, Tuning, Optimization and support of the Operating System. The data stream is extremely large and constantly changing and requires constant updates and Optimization to speed up performance. Candidate needs to maintain system for optimal performance.
-This OS supports a Common Mediation Platform, running an application.
-TNNM = Tivoli Netcool Network Manager - Tivoli Network Manager - collects data for switches (Lucent, Nortel and Motorola) on network.
-Application collects Data from the Network/Switches, normalizes the data and redirects to different Platforms
