Permanent Sr. Network Engineer opening in Olathe, KS

Job Overview:

The desired candidate will have the data networking skills listed below to support local area and wide area networks and supporting systems. Possesses expert-level technical knowledge in network infrastructure, network operating systems and related systems software and hardware, especially Cisco systems. They will have 3-4 years of experience with Firewalls, DNS, DSU, Routers, Ethernet, IP / Datanetworks, ISDN, TCP/IP and VPN. They will be responsible for Directory Services, DNS, DDNS, WINS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services and Routing.

-Uses expertise to install, configure, test, and maintain computer and/or network operating systems, related software, and hardware components. This person will have experience in Network Systems Engineering, network protocols, Cisco IOS and Network Security skills. Assists with the establishment of technical direction and deployment strategy of related technology. Works efficiently with other teams to understand current and projected needs, and establish initiatives to support those needs. Ensures proper systems operations and implements proactive measures to ensure availability, reliability, and performance goals are consistently met.
