Six Sigma / Project / Business Analyst Opening in KC

Job Overview:

Experience drawing process maps to describe current and desired process flows as well as to identify non-value added steps.
Experience with detailing processes down to the level of defining the user interface of applications and how the business will use the user interface components to accomplish work.
Experience with data analysis and data summarization as part of presenting recommendations.
Experience working with application developers and application testers along with an understanding of what they need to do their job effectively.
Excellent communication skills, phone and in person.

Desired:

Six Sigma training and experience
Experience with querying and/or designing relational data bases.
Experience with a programming langauge.
Experience with estimating and preparing a cost benefit analysis
Insurance industry experience

Project description - Successful candidates will serve in a business analyst role on assigned projects. The role involves meeting with business owners, identifying metrics expected to improve as a result of the project, documenting processes and eliminating non value added steps in those processes. The business analyst faciliates discussions among business teams and IT teams to define solutions that meet business needs.
