•Resource will operate and maintain McAfee NitroView log aggregation system and perform audits of Information System logs. Resource will ensure all required systems are properly logging events to the McAfee NitroView log aggregation system. Resource will create rules, queries, and develop management reports using the log aggregation system.
•Resource will manage and maintain the McAfee Intrusion Detection/Prevention system. Resource will ensure all security events are audited and logged. Resource will develop rules to eliminate false-positive reports.
•Resource will coordinate with clients to configure logging and reporting and ensure proper security architectures are in place.
•Resource will perform vulnerability scanning of computer systems using authorized security scanning software.
•Resource will use results of vulnerability scans to determine vulnerabilities and develop operational plans to remediate or mitigate vulnerabilities as they are discovered.
•Resource will install, operate, and maintain Host Based Security System.
•Resource will operate and maintain WebSense web content filter.
•Resource will assist hosted customers in obtaining and maintaining certifications as required.
•Resource will review and document change requests and determines approval or denial of requests.
•Resource will update and/or assist the hosted system’s personnel in updating artifacts, system diagram (logical and physical) Hardware/Software/Firmware Inventory, Interface & Ports, Protocols and Services listing, etc.
