Permanent QA Manager opening in Austin, Texas

Job Overview: The QA manager mentors, coaches and leads a team of QA analysts. He is responsible for the delivery of innovating web applications that are of high quality and within budget. The QM is responsible for managing and allocating QA resources. The QM is responsible for defining, communicating and promoting the QA, development and sdlc methodologies practices to support the company goals.

Responsibilities
• A QA manager mentors, coaches and leads a team of test architects and testers.
• Manages day-to-day QA task priorities and decisions.
• Owns development lifecycle to ensure quality deliverables within budget.
• Motivation of testers.
• Supports and advocates portal and department vision.
• Manages incidents assigned to QA through resolution.
• Provides sales and customer support as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
