Job Overview:
Participates in the development of the overall Data Architecture that will enable the movement, enhancement, integration, quality and availability of data throughout the organization. Consults with the business and technology on the data modeling process and procedures and supports projects as necessary. Data-Information Architect will guide efforts in establishing logical design characteristics and information management strategies necessary to store, move and manage data toward target state.
-Seven or more years of experience in data warehousing, data modeling, data architecture design, data management and data governance.
-Seven or more years of experience developing metadata strategy and associated governance programs -Proven experience establishing overall modeling standards, guidelines and best practices -Experience with multiple RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and M204 -Experience with managing Big Data and developing architectures to support Big Data including unstructured and high-volume transaction data -Proven ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions -Experience in strategic planning, gap analysis and roadmap development -Experience building trust, aligning priorities and nurturing effective working relationships between multiple constituents
