Data Architecture Role

Lead strategic projects to drive and define Data and Information Architecture and Strategy; Define Enterprise Data Governance; Lead the development of enterprise level Data dictionary; Analyzing Business requirements and functional specifications and being able to derive Data Architectures that support the requirements; Developing conceptual and logical data model; Provide support on use of common enterprise information models and promote their use and enhancement by new projects; Lead the vendor data model assessment in the RFPs.

Required Skills: Experience of defining and implementing data architectures and related strategic technology, preferably across a multinational organization; Proven ability to identify and define the "right solution" and develop pragmatic and practical solutions; Solid foundation in Oracle and Microsoft database administration systems; Experience with XML is required. Hands-on Experience and knowledge of: Data Management processes, modeling and standards; Data validation, standardisation, consolidation, enrichment and cleansing; Data warehousing concepts, including information management and decision support; Data Management and ETL tools (Informatica, Oracle, MS SSIS); Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools (Brio, Hyperion, Cognos); Extensive experience of delivering enterprise level solutions (global and/or multiple line-of-business)

Preferred SKills: Strong collaborative skills, ability to coordinate and work collaboratively with remote teams and individuals. Exceptional written, visual and verbal communication and meeting facilitation skills. Post Graduate degree(s) considered strongly desirable.
