Job Overview:
Looking to hire a SharePoint Developer / Architedct to build, maintain and support the organization’s enterprise solutions in SharePoint and external Web site and keep them running smoothly. This position will analyze, design, develop and implement SharePoint solutions, web pages, and web applications; integrate web sites with back end applications; migrate legacy applications to SharePoint; and perform day-to-day administration of the organization’s Web portfolio.

JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Lead development and design projects, including intranet and extranet-based initiatives.* -Provide support for MS SharePoint sites and applications.
-Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document applications using appropriate editors -Design appropriate security capabilities into all supported websites using standard web security technologies and practices.
-Register Web servers and sites with domain name services.
-Update Web pages to ensure site accuracy and currency.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing SharePoint and Web applications and sites. -Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to SharePoint -and Web applications.
-Ensure security of all Web sites and SharePoint related applications.
-Perform periodic site audits.
-Monitor and report on site traffic and performance.
Develop or assist with the development of business cases for enhancements and new projects. Analyze existing business process requirements and prepare written specifications Responsible for ensuring that all documentation accurately reflects the current status of changes. Identify, recommend, and prioritize new site features and applications in conjunction with business leaders and department managers.

-Prepare and maintain a long-term plan for SharePoint development and presence, including standards, procedures, and guidelines, based on business goals and input from stakeholders.
-Conduct research into current and emerging SharePoint and Web technologies and issues.
