Leadership Skills:

·At least 3 years experience leading development teams of at least 10 people.
·At least 2 years experience interviewing and hiring technical staff.
·Comfortable working with business and marketing leadership to formulate business, operational, and technical strategies.
·Must possess a dynamic personality and be capable of motivating a team.
·Dedication and willingness to put in extra time and effort when the situation merits.

Communication Skills:

·Capable and willing to create technical and process documentation.
·Experience writing technical proposals a big plus.
·Able to lead meetings in a professional and productive manner.
·Capable of producing and comprehending UML software models.
·Comfortable and effective at giving presentations to groups.

Technical Skills:

·At least 5 years experience developing Java web applications.
·At least 3 years experience developing .NET web applications.
·At least 1 year of experience architecting software solutions.
·Broad knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, networking, and modern web hosting infrastructures as a whole.
·Skilled with identifying, analyzing, and solving technical problems.
·Solid grasp of relational databases and schema development.
·Prior experience working with both Oracle and SQL Server.
·Experienced and well versed in all aspects of security – including network security, platform security, and web application security.
·Knowledgeable regarding OWASP web application vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques.
·Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) and preferably specific experience with MOSS 2007.

Other Skills

·Understanding of enterprise level computing concepts, such as identity management.
·Solid knowledge of leading software development methodologies.
·Well versed in PM techniques and capable of developing detailed project plans for development projects.
·Previous experience “starting up” a company or major project a plus.
·Experience working with budgets a plus.
